These are the four Mapfre AM funds that outperformed their benchmark in 2025

Redacción Mapfre
Financial markets experienced in 2025 one of their most positive years of the past decade, driven by moderate but sustained global economic growth and supportive monetary policies. This optimistic environment allowed investors to seize opportunities across various asset classes, particularly in equities.
And some investment funds not only kept pace with the market but also exceeded the returns of their benchmark indices, standing out for their active management and strategic focus on key sectors, and consolidating their position as preferred options for those seeking to maximize returns in a context of expansion and financial confidence.
At Mapfre AM, the asset manager of the Mapfre Group, we have four funds that have managed to outperform the index:
- Fondmapfre Bolsa América
Fondmapfre Bolsa América invests between 75% and 100% of the fund’s total exposure in equity securities from any sector listed in the United States, mainly issued by companies domiciled in North America. This vehicle delivered the best performance in 2024, and this year it has managed to outperform the index, achieving a return of 11.06% in 2025, compared with the 2.84% delivered by its benchmark.
- Fondmapfre Elección Decidida
Fondmapfre Elección Decidida invests between 50% and 100% of its assets in financial collective investment institutions (CIIs), while equity exposure ranges between 30% and 75% in securities of any market capitalization. Under normal market conditions, it maintains around 60% exposure to equities and may invest in any issuers and global equity markets, although investment in emerging markets does not exceed 30% of total exposure. In 2025, it achieved a return of 8.18%, compared with 6.24% for its benchmark index.
- Fondmapfre Global
Fondmapfre Global is a fund of funds with a global focus and exposure to fixed income, equities, and currencies. The fund invests a considerable part of its assets in financial collective investment institutions (CIIs) that do not belong to the management group. These institutions are domiciled in OECD countries (mainly in Europe) or listed on an EU Stock Exchange with daily liquidity. This vehicle posted a return of 12.11% in 2025 for the full year, compared with 7.86% from its benchmark index.
- Mapfre AM Good Governance
Mapfre AM Good Governance invests in global equities with a focus on good corporate governance, demonstrating that sustainability is not at odds with profitability: it closed 2025 with a gain of 12.89%, compared with 7.52% for its benchmark index. In fact, Morningstar awarded this vehicle five stars, the highest rating given by the research firm.
